Ayana DuBoseAyana is an Atlanta based dancer, actor and singer. Ayana grew up in Cobb County and attended CCCEPA at Pebblebrook high School. There she explored her passion for musical Theater. During High School and college Ayana studied dance at some the country's most prestigius dance institutions. Including The Ailey School Professional Division funded mostly by a Tim Redovian scholarship, Georgia Dance Conservatory, The Joffrey Ballet School Jazz Division NYC, and TU Dance School in St. Paul. Ayana went on to the University Of Minnesota, there she received her Bachelors Of Fine Arts in Dance where she studied under Toni Pierce Sands, Erin Thompson, Karla Grotting, and Joe Chvala. During University Ayana had the opportunity to perform the Choreography of Martha Graham at Northrop Auditorium, Garth Fagan at University Dance Theater, Joe Chvala at the Dowling Studio housed inside the famous Guthrie Theater. Professionally Ayana has performed in many regional theaters including City Springs Theatre, The Aurora Theatre, Arkansas Repertory Theatre, and The Atlanta Opera. Ayana has worked for, and learned from some fantastic trailblazers in the performing arts space including Donald Byrd, John Miller-Stephany, Cindy Rieser, Brandt Blocker, Julio Monge, Eric Sean Fogel, Ricardo Aponte, Ann Carol Pence, and Justin Anderson. Ayana is actively looking for the right shows to share her talent with and excited to get to work!

Teaching Artist
Ayana is actively teaching ballet, jazz, and Musical Theater in and around Atlanta. Ayana's dance Education program DanceLove can travel to after school programs and specials programs. Ayana is passionate about sharing her love for dance to the next Generation. Contact Ayana if you want her at your school or after school program.
